  • Tasting Tuscany

    An original, but very Tuscan experience, this trip can fit in nicely with your overnight stay at Hotel Leon Bianco.

    Come on a visit to a winery, take a tour of the cellar, and learn about the production process from the experts, all accompanied by a tasting of Tuscan wines and local products.

     

    Details: The tour costs €30 per person and includes shuttle transport. Must be booked at least two days in advance.

  • Cooking lessons

    Combine a stay in San Gimignano with a fun cooking class. Join a professional, multilingual chef for 4 hours, as they reveal the secrets of Tuscan dishes like bruschetta and pici. After the class enjoy your dinner with the other students. What a great way to learn.

     

    Details: The tour is available every day and costs €80 per person. We can arrange transfer from the Hotel Leon Bianco to the cooking school upon request.

  • Horse trekking

    Try a new way to explore the Tuscan countryside, a two hour trek by horseback. Our expert guides will take you to places not accessible in other ways and in full safety: our horses keep a pace suited to beginners and all participants wear a helmet.

     

    Details: The trek is available every day at a cost of €70 per person, which includes private bus transport to the starting point, horse hire, and equestrian guide.

  • Brunello wine tour

    Take a trip to Montalcino, the hometown of one of Tuscan’s most illustrious wines, Brunello. Discover the secrets of the nectar of the Sangiovese variety with an expert guide who will help you appreciate its different notes in different wineries.

  • Brunello Grand Tour

    A whole day dedicated to one of the most illustrious Italian wines: Brunello di Montalcino. You’ll be wholly taken by the town of Montalcino, its fortress, and the Abbey of Sant’Antimo. You’ll get to taste the superb wine with sample products in one of the best wineries, as reported in the trade press.

    Details: The tour is available every day and costs €38 per person. It includes travel by coach, an expert multi-lingual guide, visit to town of Montalcino, the fortress and Abbey of Sant’Antimo, tasting in a local winery.

  • Day trip to Siena

    Immerse yourself in the medieval atmosphere of the famous Palio with a tour of Siena. Guided by professionals, you will visit the most notable sights, including Piazza del Campo, the Duomo, the Basilica of San Domenico, and the Palazzo Comunale. The day will end in a traditional confectionery shop where you can taste real Sienese flavors.

    Details: The tour is available every day and costs €15 per person (€20 including entrance to the Duomo). It includes a tour of the city on foot with a qualified guide, and entrance and guided tour of the Duomo, as well as a tasting of traditional sweets.

  • Pienza & Montepulciano Grand Tour

    The Val d'Orcia is rich in treasures with Pienza and Montepulciano among the most precious. Visit these fascinating, timeless villages, imbued with the art of Rossellino, the unmistakable scent of Pecorino cheese, and the notes of Montepulciano wine.
